A Cat's Tale

Recently i was listening to an audiobook, it was about “choosing your own self” and the topic that was being discussed was “Happiness and Success”. So here is the exact wordings which i’ve heard

There’s a cat who’s walking down the alley, and he sees this little kitten who’s chasing its tail, he’s chasing and chasing and chasing its tail. So this cat comes to this kitten and stops him,
Cat: What the hell are you doing?
Kitten: well, i’ve been to cat philosophy school, i’ve been studying the whole philosophy in a cat’s life, and ive discovered that there are two things in the world that is important for a cat. One, is that happiness is the most important thing for a cat, and two is that happiness is located in the tail. So if i chase and chase and chase my tail, and finally i get a grip of my tail in my mouth, then i will have a lock on eternal happiness.
Cat: you know, ive never had the oppurtunity to go to cat philosophy school, all my life ive always spent my life living in alleys, and the most surprising thing is that i’ve learn the same thing that you’ve learnt that happiness is the most important thing for a cat, and that it is located in the tail. But the only difference is that i’ve discovered that if you go about your business and do the most important thing to you. And it will follow you wherever you go.

I think that the story is a very motivational story, for all of us who are seeking for happiness and success rather than we chase it , let us do the most important thing, and we go about just doing our own business without focusing on what others will say and do towards ourself. and that happiness and success will follow us whever we go.
