The New Age Solution

many of us have been hurt in some or the other way by our friends, relatives or even my strangers we meet in our daily lives. and most of the time our reactions to the people who show anger to us. is by showing the same anger, or an anger that's larger than thiers.

however, i have heard this quote for a long time and have been trying to exploring it with my own understanding. it goes that "you cant fight FIRE, with Fire, but you can fight FIRE with WATER"

my title for this note is "the new age solution" but actually, the reality is that this solution has been with us for many years

taking a look back at history in the city of Asisi.Italy
there was a saint called Saint Francis of Assisi, he was from italy.
i dont completely know the story about this dude
but all i know is that he wrote one of the sensational prayers that i've ever come across
his prayer goes like this

Lord, make me an instrument of Thy peace;
where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
and where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master,
grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;
to be understood, as to understand;
to be loved, as to love;
for it is in giving that we receive,
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life.

Amen.


there is so much power in this prayer..
it shows us how to go through our daily lives.

there's another saying also that moves the spirit within me to write this note
the saying goes "you cant be sad enough to make another person happy"

i see the connection between the prayer and the quote above.
when we are sad, we cannot help our friends who are sad.
we should be in a state of MEGA happiness in order to help those friends of ours who are sad

if all of us try to follow the prayer of St Francis of Assisi,
Together as one, we can all reach the final Glory
